It’s Ok to Ask
for Help
Please help us raise awareness and let others know that resources are available by downloading the image below and sharing it on your social media channels.
You don’t have to struggle alone! Today we encourage individuals experiencing eating disorders and their loved ones to reach out and ask for help via our therapist-staffed helpline and findEDhelp website/app. You can also text “ALLIANCE” to 741741
Our helpline is run by licensed and specialized therapists. We can provide support and referrals to all levels of care from eating disorders specialized therapists and dietitians to acute medical stabilization.
I've learned there's power deep down inside yourself, and you can find it when you don't give up on yourself and when you ask for help.

What makes The Alliance’s referrals unique?
Our free helpline, providing referrals for all levels of eating disorder treatment and care, is staffed by licensed therapists who customize each referral inquiry to your needs, based on the appropriate level of care needed, insurance coverage, co-occurring diagnoses, and more. Each individual seeking eating disorder care deserves personalized help. There are so many variables to be considered when searching for specialized care.
The Alliance recognized the amount of time lost and possible harm created when individuals are recommended treatment options not appropriate for their needs. To make the process more effective, we created the nation’s most robust, comprehensive, and inclusive referral database, findEDhelp. In an effort to further remove barriers to care, there is not a charge for providers to be listed in the database.
